Formed in late 2010, Pedals' aim was to provide cyclists with a welcoming, friendly place to bring their bikes and receive high quality, personal services that didn't cost the earth...or your savings.

Pedals is James and Ryan; two friends, passionate about cycling and the environment, proud of their knowledge and ability of bicycles and servicing with a collective experience in the bike industry of nearly 2 decades.

James has amassed his understanding of everything bike while working both shop-floor and workshop for some of the UK most successful cycling retailers and local bike shops. He has official cycle maintenance and servicing qualifications (Cytec) and an expanse of hands on experience which mean his talent for servicing and repairs of bikes and components goes beyond just theory. James brings with him knowledge of workshop management and abilities in fork and shock servicing as well as hydraulic disc brakes and frame preparation.

Ryan, like James, is well experienced in bicycle retail and servicing through working in various successful local bike shops in and around Edinburgh. His customer service abilities were taken to the highest standard while working as Workshop and Warranty Manager for the UK distributor to some of the most sought after bicycles and component brands worldwide. Also seen providing rider support for teams such as the Santa Cruz Syndicate, Team GT, CRC and many privateers at various World Cup 4X and DH events as well as UK races such as Mountain Mayhem and No Fuss events.
